Akhil Bhartiya Jankalyan Vikas Samiti believes that to make any dent in persistent inequity and injustice, the root causes of poverty must be addressed, and not just the distress conditions. Through our supporters we reach most poor and marginalised people, supporting them in their struggle to access their rights to food, shelter, work, education, healthcare and human security and helping them have their voice in the development decisions affecting their lives and livelihood.

Our mission is to facilitate the socio-economic development of poor communities, (especially the more vulnerable among them due to caste, class, age and gender barriers), through their active participation, conscientisation and encouraging collective decision-making, towards the establishment of exploitation-free and self-reliant society.

This is a well-known fact that Adivasis, Dalits and Backward classes have almost lost their leadership quality due to exploitation and other similar prevalent activities coming from centuries. Their traditional brilliance is in a sleeping state. Hence in spite of all the negative force and adverse conditions the first and foremost duty is to regenerate the self confidence amonge these sections of the society. Make them realize their abilities and associate them in all the social activities. and action against HIV/AIDS.
