Akhil Bhartiya Jankalyan Vikas Samiti has always taken care of the poor and has been busy in their service. The Akhil Bhartiya Jankalyan Vikas Samiti has organised free health examination camps for the health of children from time to time, besides organizing free eye relief camps, in collaboration with D.B.C.S. Pratapgarh, to diagnose cases of patients suffering from cataract, glaucoma and other Eye ailments. The first free Eye relief camp in this connection was held at the Community Health Centre, Sandwa Chandrika on 13-01-2006 in which teams of eye Specialist Doctors belonging to D.B.C.S. Pratapgarh, Participated. The Special interest in examining the Eye patients shown by Dr. S.K. Tiwari, M.S. from the D.B.C.S. Pratapgarh was praiseworthy. In this camp 116 Eye, patients of different diseases were examined and suitable medicines prescribed. Of them more than 21 patients were operated upon for cataract and distributed glasses to ensure safety of eyes. The patients were drawn from 38 different villages from to different Blocks of the Distt. Pratapgarh.
